What you will be doing:
- Lead and implement business development activity for the University in connection with regional, national and internationally externally funded Continuous Professional Development (CPD) opportunities, responsible for (i) Customer relationship management (ii) understanding regional and national contract training market landscape (iii) identification of new collaboration opportunities (iv) devise and implement promotional strategies for the University’s CPD portfolio.
- Project management, supporting Faculties and Research Institutes on bidding, tendering, planning, IP and contracting of CPD programmes.
- Identify and manage strategic objectives and improvement projects relating to CPD programmes. Develop a University-wide CPD strategy encompassing accredited and non-accredited short, funded programmes for in-work learners.
- Qualifications/ experience:
- Level 6 or equivalent, or equivalent demonstrable experience in science, engineering or healthcare or related subjects (Essential) Level 7 Higher Degree (MSc, PhD, MBA) (Desirable)
- Experience of setting up and managing collaborative education partnerships for continuing professional development programmes
- Experienced at setting up networks and building and managing business relationships with business stakeholders and funding bodies.
