Are you an ambitious Functional Safety professional ready to take ownership of safety‑critical projects within a growing engineering consultancy? Mostly remote, with occasional visits to client sites or the office. This independent consultancy helps clients in energy, infrastructure, and industrial sectors manage risks, operate safely, and navigate complex projects.

In this role, you'll carry out safety assessments, develop procedures, support hazard identification, and ensure projects run safely, while guiding teams and promoting a strong safety culture.
The Role
- Process Safety Engineer for a well‑established engineering consultancy
- Risk assessments, safety reviews, procedure development, and compliance support
- £50,000 – £70,000 – negotiable based on experience, with progression, training, and company benefits
- Mon‑Fri 8‑4 or 9‑5 (flexible), mostly WFH with occasional client or office visits
The Person
- Proven experience in process safety or process engineering
- Ideally with experience in energy, oil & gas, or industrial environments
- FSA Level 4 Certification / Experience – candidates without but with strong functional safety experience also considered
