In this role you will offer guidance and support to enable neurodivergent/disabled learners to achieve their aspirations and goals. You will deliver effective teaching, learning and support to learners for qualifications and their individual needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, creative interventions that meet individual learner needs and targets
  • Motivate and support learners to achieve their goals through outstanding, ongoing guidance
  • Create and implement tailored learner support plans, evidencing progression on a monthly basis
  • Provide continuous Information, Advice & Guidance and pastoral support to aid engagement and achievement
  • Deliver and facilitate teaching, learning and support that promotes accelerated and autonomous learning
  • Develop learning resources to effectively support the learning process
  • Complete detailed documentation to evidence Learning Support Funding requirements
  • Work collaboratively with delivery colleagues, providing timely and accurate learner updates
  • Monitor learner welfare, health and safety, promoting knowledge of Safeguarding, British Values, Prevent, and Equality & Diversity

Your Experience

  • Experience of and a proven track record of working with SEND learners
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding targets
  • Knowledge and/or experience in Safeguarding
  • Understanding of the SEND Code of Practicea
  • Teaching qualification preferred
  • Educated at degree level or equivalent experience
