Job Purpose
To analyse financial and operational data to provide actionable insights that drive business performance, optimise service delivery, and support strategic decision‑making across the organisation. Bridge the gap between finance, operations, and business units to enhance profitability and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Analysis and Reporting
- Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance reports comparing actual results against budgets and forecasts. Identify variances, trends, and drivers of financial performance across service lines, business units, and geographic regions.
- Monitoring of key financial metrics.
Operational Performance Analysis
- Analyse operational metrics such as service delivery efficiency, utilisation rates, productivity, quality indicators, and customer satisfaction scores.
- Identify operational bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Conduct cost‑benefit analyses for operational initiatives and improvement projects.
- Track and report on operational KPIs, creating dashboards and scorecards for stakeholder visibility.
Business Partnering and Insights
- Collaborate with operations, service delivery, sales, and leadership teams to understand business challenges and opportunities.
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for non‑financial stakeholders.
- Support business case development for new services, contracts, investments, and strategic initiatives.
- Provide analytical support during contract negotiations, pricing reviews, and client profitability assessments.
Data Management and Reporting
- Maintain and enhance financial and operational reporting systems, dashboards, and data visualisation tools.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across multiple sources and systems.
- Automate routine reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Develop ad‑hoc analyses in response to management requests and emerging business questions.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to enhance analytical processes, reporting frameworks, and decision‑making tools.
- Recommend and implement improvements to financial and operational performance measurement.
Key Skills and Competencies
Technical Skills
- Advanced Excel proficiency including pivot tables, complex formulas, and data modelling.
- Experience with business intelligence and visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar). SQL or database query skills advantageous.
- Understanding of financial statements, management accounting principles, and cost analysis.
- Statistical analysis and forecasting techniques. Experience working with Corrigo would be advantageous.

- Strong problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to synthesize complex data from multiple sources into coherent insights.

Demonstrated track record of delivering impactful insights that influenced business decisions. Experience working with large datasets and reporting systems.
