HR Business Partner – Global Finance Function

  • Location: London (Hybrid – 2/3 days onsite per week)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to support a Global Finance function within a complex, matrixed organisation. This is a highly impactful role focused on data-driven decision making, organisational effectiveness, and workforce transformation.

Working closely with senior leaders, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering the people strategy, leveraging HR analytics and insights to inform business decisions and drive performance.

Key Responsibilities

Productivity & Organisation Effectiveness

  • Support the delivery of global transformation initiatives across the Finance function
  • Leverage HR data (e.g. Workday, OrgVue) to generate insights and inform workforce planning
  • Analyse trends to measure the impact of change programmes and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Partner with Finance stakeholders on headcount planning, reporting, and forecasting
  • Operate effectively within a matrix environment, collaborating across functions and geographies
  • Work with country HR teams and HR PMO to ensure consistent delivery of global initiatives

Talent, Succession Planning & Diversity

  • Support talent reviews and succession planning to build a robust leadership pipeline
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and recruitment teams to ensure high-quality hiring decisions
  • Contribute to and lead Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) initiatives

Purpose & Performance Culture

  • Embed a high-performance culture aligned to organisational goals
  • Coach and support leaders to drive inclusive and effective team performance
  • Enable teams to deliver value through strong engagement and accountability

General HR Support

  • Provide support on employee relations matters, ensuring a positive and compliant workplace
  • Partner with HR Centres of Excellence, HR Operations, and regional HR teams to deliver core people processes
  • Coordinate key HR activities and programmes across multiple markets

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner in a complex, fast-paced environment
  • Strong understanding of the end-to-end employee lifecycle and HR best practices
  • Demonstrated ability to use HR data and analytics to drive insights and decision-making
  • Experience supporting transformation, restructuring, or change initiatives
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with confidence engaging senior leaders
  • Strong attention to detail with experience in planning, tracking, and reporting project activity
  • Ability to operate with autonomy, sound judgement, and comfort in ambiguity
  • Knowledge of the UK employment landscape
  • Experience working across global teams and multiple geographies (desirable)
