Role

Band 7 Bank Chief Cardiac Physiologist (Echocardiography)

We are looking for a fully qualified (BSE Accredited) echocardiography professional to perform routine and complex adult echocardiography at Grantham and District Hospital.

Our band 7 staff are expected to work as independent clinicians and, for suitable candidates, significant freedom to act and clinical autonomy will be granted.

United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (now United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust) and its associated hospitals.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex adult echocardiography.
• Operate and maintain echocardiography equipment.
• Provide clinical reports and interpretations.
• Work independently within the Cardiology Department.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified (BSE Accredited) Echocardiography practitioner.
• Experience in adult echocardiography, including advanced techniques.
• Ability to work independently and exercise clinical autonomy.
