Job Description

The Quality Assurance Analyst strengthens first‑line compliance monitoring through data‑driven decision‑making across Wealth Management Europe. This role focuses on advanced data analysis, desk‑based monitoring and reporting of RBC Brewin Dolphin’s Front Office client advice and trading activities. You will leverage data to identify trends, optimise processes and support business decisions that foster a robust governance culture.

The role will also champion the adoption of new policy, process and controls, using key performance metrics and MI to uncover insights and recommend data‑driven remediation. All of this contributes to improved governance and culture within the Front Office.

This is an excellent opportunity to transition from data analysis into a governance function. We are seeking talented data professionals who are keen to broaden their expertise into wealth management and compliance. If you have strong data fundamentals and a genuine willingness to learn about industry regulations, Front Office monitoring activities and governance frameworks, we will invest in your development. You will gain valuable experience in a new sector while leveraging the technical skills you have already mastered, supported by a great team committed to your growth.

What will you do?

  • Perform advanced data analysis of Front Office activities using Excel, VLOOKUPs and pivot tables
  • Collaborate with business teams and stakeholders to understand data requirements and resolve data quality issues
  • Analyse business metrics and Management Information (MI) to identify trends, patterns and to raise risks
  • Build and maintain dashboards, reports, visualisations and report findings to stakeholders and governance forums

What do you need to succeed?

Must‑have

  • Demonstrable experience in data analysis
  • Excel skills including VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, pivot tables and data manipulation techniques
  • Experience with MI reporting tools and business intelligence platforms
  • Eager to apply data analytics skills to a compliance monitoring position and build a career within governance
