Controlled Labour Solutions are currently recruiting for a Quality Inspector / Trainee Quality Inspector on behalf of a well-established manufacturing company. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous quality inspection experience or an individual looking to develop a long-term career within quality and manufacturing.
Working Hours Monday Thursday: 7:00am 4:00pm
Friday: 6:00am 3:00pm
20-minute paid break
30-minute unpaid lunch break
Duties Include Inspecting raw materials, in-process parts, and finished products
Verifying dimensions using measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMM equipment
Carrying out visual and functional inspections
Preparing and completing inspection reports
Recording non-conformances (NCRs)
Maintaining quality records and traceability documentation
Supporting production teams to ensure quality standards are met
The Ideal Candidate Previous experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
Experience using measuring equipment such as calipers and micrometers preferred
Good attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to read engineering drawings is advantageous
Strong communication and organisational xwzovoh skills
Trainee applicants with the right attitude and willingness to learn will also be considered
