About The Role

We are recruiting Team Manager to join a core team supporting people in the community who have moved on from more complex services. Supported living services provide people an opportunity to live an independent life in their own home.

Role: Team Manager

Location: Derby DE1

Shifts: Days, weekends

Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

We do not offer sponsorship

Responsibilities

Whilst fully embracing the company ethos, support workers provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower people we support to achieve their goals and aspirations, respecting everyone’s individuality and enabling them to make appropriate choices to live the life they want to live. Support is required 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Qualifications and Experience

Do you have previous experience working in care, managing a team and want to use these skills to develop further and take the lead?

  • Previous care management experience, preferably within a supported living environment.
  • Hold or be working towards an NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care or have a suitable alternative qualification.
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to create an inclusive and welcoming environment for all.
  • Evidence that you can provide inspiring, motivational, clear, and supportive leadership.
  • The ideal candidate will be able to drive due to the needs of the service.
