As part of a rapidly growing European group, they are expanding their commercial footprint in the UK and are now seeking a skilled Technical Sales Engineer to drive business development and manage client relationships across the marine and leisure equipment sector.

This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional with technical acumen and knowledge of the marine industry. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new commercial opportunities, managing a portfolio of existing clients, and representing the company at key industry events. You'll also support the implementation of ISO 9001-aligned quality standards and play a vital role in the company’s long-term strategic growth in the UK market.

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • Proven experience in technical sales, preferably within the marine, boating, or leisure equipment sectors
  • A strong understanding of distribution networks and the UK marine market
  • Basic technical knowledge of boats and marine equipment/environments
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and CRM software
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills
  • A professional, self-motivated attitude with strong initiative and autonomy
  • A commitment to quality and familiarity with ISO 9001 standards
  • A willingness to travel for client visits and trade events across the UK
  • A valid driving licence (company vehicle provided)
