This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to take ownership of health & safety and compliance across a dynamic, multi-service organisation. If you’re someone who enjoys influencing culture, driving improvements, and operating at both a strategic and hands‑on level.
Responsibilities
- Act as the go‑to expert for all health & safety matters across the business
- Drive improvements in compliance, processes, and overall safety culture
- Lead investigations into incidents and ensure lessons are learned
- Manage audits, inspections, and performance tracking
- Oversee key accreditations and quality standards, including ISO frameworks
- Support and guide managers to embed best practice in their teams
- Deliver training and promote awareness across the workforce
- Work with external stakeholders including auditors, regulators, and insurers
Qualifications
- Recognised Health & Safety qualification (NEBOSH or IOSH)
- Strong working knowledge of H&S legislation and compliance frameworks
- Experience managing audits, accreditations, or quality systems
- Background in a senior or leadership‑level role
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Proactive, solutions‑focused mindset
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
