As one of the biggest PowerBuilder IT Consultancies in Europe with offices in UK, Netherlands, Belgium and Switzerland, we are looking to recruit PowerBuilder Consultants.

We deliver a range of services from IT Consultancy, Software Project Development and Application Support Services for our corporate clients covering Insurance, Retail, FMCG, Automotive, Logistics & Leasing, Publishing and Charity domains (including UN organisations) which are well-known names. The role is hybrid (split between mostly Working from Home and occasional travelling at one of our offices/other sites). As OCS is part of an Employee Ownership Trust, after a qualifying period the successful candidate will be able to contribute to the company’s future vision and share the profits.

Your profile:

  • 3+ years recent commercial experience with PowerBuilder support and development mandatory
  • Experience with Oracle PL/SQL or SQL databases (Including triggers, stored procedures and packages) mandatory
  • Familiarity with source control servers – desirable
  • Advanced Database skills – desirable
  • Experience assessing, analyzing and designing heterogeneous technical solutions leveraging existing PowerBuilder applications and systems
  • Proven experience working in a fast-paced complex environment
  • French speaking at a professional level would be a strong advantage
  • Proven strong communicator, who is able to speak about technical matters in non-technical (plain) English
  • Flexibility and an open-minded approach to work with a 'can do' attitude.
