Lead Equipment Engineer

Location: Oldham, Manchester. Shift pattern: rotating day and night shifts (4 on, 4 off, 12‑hour shifts) in a cleanroom environment. Clean shaven required for breathing apparatus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure maintenance resources align with production priorities on a daily basis to achieve manufacturing metrics.
• Blend technical expertise with leadership to develop and coach equipment engineers and technicians.

Qualifications

• Team leadership experience, including management, coaching, or development of engineers or technicians.
• Previous experience working with capital equipment in a fast‑paced environment.
• Technical background across Electrical, Electronic or Mechanical Engineering disciplines.
• Minimum education of HNC/HND level in a relevant engineering discipline.
