Slough (with travel to Client sites)

The Role

Reporting into senior leadership, you will provide technical oversight, governance, and leadership across multiple disciplines including electrical, mechanical, and HVAC services.

You’ll lead discipline managers, support operational teams, and ensure that all services are delivered safely, compliantly, and to the highest possible standard.

  • Shape technical standards and influence how services are delivered across the business
  • Lead and develop a team of specialist managers
  • Take ownership of high‑risk assets and critical infrastructure
  • Drive improvements in compliance, performance, and innovation
  • Play a key role in supporting new contract mobilisation and business growth

Hours: 40 hours a week

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading and supporting discipline managers across electrical, HVAC, and other building services areas
  • Setting and maintaining technical standards, procedures, and best practices
  • Overseeing high‑risk assets such as pressure systems and cooling systems, ensuring robust risk management and compliance
  • Providing expert technical guidance to operational teams on complex challenges
  • Monitoring compliance, certifications, and audit readiness across sites
  • Supporting the mobilisation of new contracts and providing technical input into proposals
  • Driving continuous improvement, innovation, and consistency in service delivery
  • Providing clear technical reporting and insights to senior leadership

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for a confident and experienced technical leader who brings both depth of knowledge and the ability to influence and guide others.

You will bring:

  • A strong background in building services engineering across multiple disciplines
  • Experience in a senior technical or engineering leadership role
  • Proven ability to manage or lead technical teams
  • A solid understanding of compliance, regulation, and high‑risk asset management
  • Strong communication and decision‑making skills

Relevant engineering qualifications and professional development will support your success in this role.
