Forklift Field Service Engineer (Door‑to‑Door Pay)
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 (OTE £50,000 – £55,000) plus company benefits, manufacturer‑specific training, progression, overtime, company van, and on‑call.
Location: Basildon, Essex.
Our established UK manufacturer and materials handling specialist supplies innovative articulated forklift trucks, narrow aisle warehouse equipment, and storage solutions to the warehousing, logistics, manufacturing, retail, and distribution sectors. With over 60 years of engineering expertise, industry‑leading innovation, and customer‑focused service, we are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer.
Responsibilities
- Maintain forklift trucks to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Diagnose and repair faults on fleet and customer forklift trucks.
- Keep tools and equipment in a safe, clean, and serviceable condition.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers.
- Be on call one in four weeks.
- Work a 40‑hour work week.
Qualifications
- Background in repairing and maintaining forklift trucks or similar equipment.
- Mechanical and Electrical background.
- Comfortable travelling across Essex and surrounding areas.
- Full UK Driving Licence required.
