What you will do:
- Preparation of statutory returns and disclosures
- Financial planning, budgeting and forecasting for the International division and the underlying entities as required
- Assist with prudential capital and liquidity stress testing and adequacy assessments for the regulated entities within the International division
- Understand, identify and assess risks applicable to all activities undertaken; propose and/or implement controls to manage those risks; and accurately record incidents associated with those risks
- Financial results measurement, analysis and reporting, including Monthly MI
- Assist the Finance heads in business partnering the senior management team
- Assist with the measurement and tracking of the strategic goals
- Provide financial input to business cases and track benefits as required
- Offer proactive advice and assistance in conflict resolution and strategic planning
- Support new vendor checking
- Deliver project management reporting, including analysis of status and key milestones relative to deadlines and deliverables
- Participate in market unit initiatives and projects, along with wider ad‑hoc initiatives
- Stay abreast of industry standards and knowledge to effectively communicate with clients
- Interact effectively with other SEI teams
- Perform other duties as necessary
- Maintain good understanding of applicable policies, procedures, risk appetites and tolerance; consider current and potential risks in business decisions; accurately and timely record incidents; and complete all required risk‑management training
What we need from you:
- Financial reporting experience
- Strong technical reporting and accounting knowledge
- Desire to study toward a qualification relevant to the role
- Understanding of SEI’s accounting systems and programs
- Advanced ability to use Excel and systems capability to handle data, reconciliations, and repeatable reporting efficiently
- PowerPoint and presentational skills
