What you will do:

  • Preparation of statutory returns and disclosures
  • Financial planning, budgeting and forecasting for the International division and the underlying entities as required
  • Assist with prudential capital and liquidity stress testing and adequacy assessments for the regulated entities within the International division
  • Understand, identify and assess risks applicable to all activities undertaken; propose and/or implement controls to manage those risks; and accurately record incidents associated with those risks
  • Financial results measurement, analysis and reporting, including Monthly MI
  • Assist the Finance heads in business partnering the senior management team
  • Assist with the measurement and tracking of the strategic goals
  • Provide financial input to business cases and track benefits as required
  • Offer proactive advice and assistance in conflict resolution and strategic planning
  • Support new vendor checking
  • Deliver project management reporting, including analysis of status and key milestones relative to deadlines and deliverables
  • Participate in market unit initiatives and projects, along with wider ad‑hoc initiatives
  • Stay abreast of industry standards and knowledge to effectively communicate with clients
  • Interact effectively with other SEI teams
  • Perform other duties as necessary
  • Maintain good understanding of applicable policies, procedures, risk appetites and tolerance; consider current and potential risks in business decisions; accurately and timely record incidents; and complete all required risk‑management training

What we need from you:

  • Financial reporting experience
  • Strong technical reporting and accounting knowledge
  • Desire to study toward a qualification relevant to the role
  • Understanding of SEI’s accounting systems and programs
  • Advanced ability to use Excel and systems capability to handle data, reconciliations, and repeatable reporting efficiently
  • PowerPoint and presentational skills
