About The Role
Lead and inspire a multi-disciplinary team to provide outstanding, personalised care to our residents, always putting their needs and wellbeing first. Manage all aspects of the home, identify business opportunities, effectively manage budgets, take responsibility for operating profit, and ensure regulatory compliance across all relevant areas. Develop strong internal and external relationships to strengthen the Bupa brand with key audiences including Local Authority and Primary Care Trust commissioners.
Requirements include registration with the regulator; occasional out‑of‑hours or evenings may be required.
What are we looking for in our Care Home Managers?
- Strong clinical knowledge and expertise, plus an LMCS, RMA or equivalent management qualification
- Strong commercial acumen and strategic mind for a regulated sector
- Ability to develop an environment focused on continuous improvement
- Effective communicator with a confident and influential leadership style

Outside Chislehurst, Elmstead is under a 10‑minute walk from Elmstead Woods train station and easily accessible via the 314 bus route. We provide short‑term and long‑term residential care, including for those living with dementia. The team is passionate about person‑centred care, championing dignity and independence, and organising a wide variety of activities for a truly varied day. New team members are supported from day one to learn, develop and progress.
