Role Overview
As a Recruiter at Berkley Hunt, you will play a key role in working on the growth of our VC partners, engaging, and placing high-caliber tech talent into key roles across a variety of portfolio firms. You'll be responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle and developing client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing and new clients. Understand their hiring needs and provide consultative recruitment solutions.
- Utilize a variety of sourcing methods (e.g., LinkedIn, Bullhorn, networking events) to identify, approach, and engage qualified tech candidates.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from candidate attraction, interviewing, and assessment to offer negotiation and onboarding for our clients.
- Stay updated on trends within the technology industry, including skills demand, salary benchmarks, and competitor activity.
- Consistently meet and exceed placement targets, revenue goals, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Maintain an organized and up-to-date candidate database on Bullhorn.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3+ years of recruitment experience, with a strong focus on tech roles.
- Solid understanding of the technology landscape and tech skillsets (e.g., software development, data/AI and product).
- Demonstrable success in placing tech candidates and achieving sales targets.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain client and candidate relationships.
- A results-driven mindset with the ability to develop new business and close deals.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a willingness to take initiative.
