Position: Patient Administrator
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (full‑time) – flexible shift pattern between 07:30AM and 09:00PM on a rotational basis
Salary: Up to £25,525 per year (depending on experience, training, and qualification)

Overview

This role is part of the Administration department at Ross Hall Hospital, a member of Circle Health Group.

Duties

  • Contribute to the smooth running of the patient administrative process throughout the patient journey.
  • Ensure Circle Health Group best practice process maps are followed, providing an efficient, professional standard service to all patients, visitors, consultants, and staff.
  • Ensure all patient queries are dealt with efficiently and professionally.
  • Manage all incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Approve electronic bookings received via the relevant system and update any bookings received via email.
  • Maintain knowledge of the Health and Safety at Work Act, ensuring appropriate measures for health and safety of patients, relatives, visitors, staff, and contractors.
  • Comply with all relevant mandatory training.

Qualifications

  • Mathematics and English GCSE at grades A to C or functional skills level 2 evidence.
  • Proficiency in PC use, including software and systems.
  • Basic financial awareness.
  • Previous administration experience in a private healthcare environment is preferred.
