Business Analyst – M&A & Digital Transformation

Leads high‑impact, cross‑functional strategic initiatives for the Group (mergers & acquisitions, divestments, transformation programs). Involved end‑to‑end, from ideation through delivery and implementation, in close coordination with Executive Committee (ExCom) members. Drives multidisciplinary and international teams, ensuring alignment of projects with Quadient’s overall strategy and contributing directly to long‑term value creation.
Key Responsibilities
- Define project objectives, scope, and success criteria in collaboration with ExCom members
- Structure and manage both strategic initiatives and M&A projects, including timelines, budget, resources, governance, and deliverables
- Translate strategic vision into operational action plans supported by performance indicators
- Identify organizational, operational, and human impacts and lead change‑management efforts through cross‑functional teams
- Lead the end‑to‑end transaction process, including opportunity identification and engagement, cross‑functional due diligence, financial modeling and valuation, and term sheet and contract negotiations
- Manage M&A and strategic investment pipeline
- Anticipate and remove roadblocks, arbitrate priorities, and secure decision‑making
- Provide regular, structured reporting to senior management and the ExCom
- Lead multiple strategic transformation projects simultaneously
- Recommend prioritization and arbitration of initiatives driven by the Strategic Operations team

Qualifications
- Master’s degree (Business School, Engineering School, or equivalent university qualification)
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience leading large‑scale strategic projects and transformation initiatives, and/or M&A transactions
- Solid financial acumen, including valuation methodologies (DCF, multiples), financial modeling, and investment case development
- Proven background in management consulting, financial departments, and/or complex, international environments
- Excellent ability to prepare and deliver high‑impact materials (investment memos, board presentations, transaction updates) and engage with top management and external stakeholders
- Fluent English required; French proficiency is an asset
