The Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Management Lead with Group Account Director experience from a creative agency. The role reports directly to the Head of Operations and requires a self‑starter who can juggle multiple work streams, defend and sell creative ideas, and lead a team of Senior Project Managers and Project Managers.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Coach, lead and inspire a team of Senior and Project Managers to excellence.
  • Build and own relationships with key senior stakeholders such as EU and Global Marketing Directors, acting as the marketing director’s escalation point.
  • Ensure seamless integration with Operations leads (Traffic & Finance) and department heads in draftLine to assure smooth processes led by the PM team.
  • Actively monitor and track draftLine Targets & Operations team North Stars, opening gaps and influencing achievement.
  • Constantly improve and analyse WOW, identifying areas for improvement and working closely with broader draftLine departments where applicable.
  • Collaborate with Marketing teams on brands’ one‑year plans and lead the draftLine SOW delivery for your brand scope, translating scope into workload planning alongside finance & traffic leads.
  • Supervise tracking of overarching budgets and finances with the PM team and their brands, such as retainers, forecasts and reconciliations with the Finance Manager – ensuring brand teams are notified of any overspend or issues in a timely manner.
  • Lead high‑profile & complex projects or campaigns where necessary.

  • Experience managing and coaching high‑performing teams.
  • Relationship management experience with the ability to interact and influence efficiently across various stakeholders in different geographies and organisational levels.
  • Organised, meticulous about keeping promises and meeting deadlines, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Able to identify and navigate ambiguity in a changing environment.
  • Creative flair and confidence to contribute actively to strategic and creative discussions, demonstrating balanced judgement.
  • Strong commercial acumen & financial/budget management.
  • Able to identify continuous improvement opportunities through evidence‑backed decisions.
  • Strong communication skills with impeccable written, spoken and presentation English.
