A new opportunity has arisen with one of our Broxburn-based clients. We’re seeking reliable individuals to become Packaging/Knife Machinery Operatives with our food production client. What’s on offer? A temporary ongoing opportunity – with a permanent role for the right candidate Working Monday to Friday, 06:05 to 14:25 Paid weekly 13.09 per hour Working as a Packaging Operative, your duties and responsibilities will include: Picking and packing of products Operating sharp knife machinery Monitoring quality control of products and raw material Working on a fast-paced production line Manual handling and weighing of products Other general warehouse/labourer duties To be successful you will have previous experience within a warehouse, production or manufacturing environment – full training is provided. Other desirable skills and traits include: Excellent attention to detail Ability to spend long periods of time on your feet Ability to work on your own and in a team Excellent organisational skills Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions Excellent time keeping Access to your own transport due to location and hours Please Note – You will be working in a cold environment; full protective equipment will be provided.
