This is a brand-new opening, coming June 2026! An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated Assistant Catering Manager to join a high-volume, customer-focused catering operation based at a busy leisure destination in Cheshire.
This is a permanent, full-time position offering the chance to support a growing, multi-outlet catering function within a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
This role would suit an experienced supervisor looking to step into management or an existing assistant manager seeking a fresh challenge in a hands-on setting.
The Role
You will support the Catering Manager in the day-to-day running of multiple food outlets, contributing to the delivery of a high-quality food offering and excellent customer experience.
The operation includes a mix of quick-service and seated dining concepts, with ongoing development and expansion planned.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting the management of multiple catering outlets
Supervising and coordinating team members during busy service periods
Assisting with food preparation and service delivery
Ensuring a consistent and high standard of customer experience
Supporting stock control, ordering, and basic cost management
Assisting with the training and development of team members
Maintaining food safety, hygiene, and operational standards
Supporting overall performance and smooth daily operations
What Were Looking For
Minimum of 1 years experience in a high-volume catering environment
Previous experience supervising or leading a team
Strong focus on customer service and operational standards
Basic understanding of stock control and ordering processes
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Good knowledge of food hygiene and preparation standards
A proactive, hands-on approach
Desirable
Basic cooking experience
Relevant customer service qualifications
First Aid certification
Food Hygiene certification
