Responsibilities

  • Process, store, and exploit publicly available information (PAI) and commercially available information (CAI) to support data‑driven decision making.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis, perform large‑scale data queries, and build scalable ETL pipelines using Python, Spark, Synapse, and Neo4j in an Azure cloud environment.
  • Develop and implement machine learning models and automated analytics across multi‑source datasets.
  • Clean, organize, integrate, and maintain data models; develop dynamic visualizations, dashboards, and reports that communicate findings to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with military personnel, partner nations, policy makers, and cross‑functional teams to identify data needs, translate requirements into analytical solutions, and deliver fused intelligence products.
  • Document analytic methodologies, balance accuracy with operational timelines, and provide briefings, presentations, and decision‑support materials.
  • Conduct customer outreach, track stakeholder satisfaction, and contribute to reporting and accountability mechanisms.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in data engineering, including ETL development, data modeling, data integration, and geospatial datasets.
  • 4+ years of experience using big data technologies such as Spark, Elastic or Snowflake.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python.
  • Experience working within the IC and DoD joint environment.
  • Knowledge of automation, artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) techniques.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects on tight deadlines while clearly conveying technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams to achieve objectives and translate stakeholder needs into actionable solutions.
  • TS/SCI clearance.
  • HS diploma and 8+ years of experience in mathematics, statistics, or data science, or an associate’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or Data Science and 4+ years of experience in mathematics, statistics, or data science.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with intelligence oversight policies and data governance standards.
  • Experience with cloud‑based data solutions in the Azure ecosystem.
  • Experience with graph databases such as Neo4j or Cosmos DB.
  • Experience with natural language processing (NLP) and automated analytics.
  • Experience implementing ML or AI solutions.
  • Excellent analytical skills for querying and interpreting large data sets.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and client‑facing skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or Data Science.

Compensation

Projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 annually (USD). Salary is determined by location, education, skills, and experience.
