We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Head of Repairs to lead the delivery of responsive repairs, maintenance and empty homes services. This senior leadership role is responsible for operational performance, financial management, health & safety compliance, contractor management and continuous service improvement.
You will work closely with teams across Asset Management, Compliance, Procurement, Finance and Housing to ensure high-quality, value-for-money services that put residents first.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage repairs and maintenance operations across a large multi-disciplinary workforce.
- Deliver high standards of resident satisfaction, compliance, quality and performance.
- Manage budgets, forecasting, contractor performance and operational KPIs.
- Drive continuous improvement using data, insight and benchmarking.
- Ensure effective health & safety management and compliance with CDM regulations.
- Develop and motivate teams through strong leadership and performance management.
- Support strategic planning and service transformation initiatives.
About You
- Significant experience leading large-scale repairs or maintenance services.
- Strong technical knowledge of building maintenance and compliance.
- Excellent leadership, financial and operational management skills.
- Experience managing contractors, budgets and service performance.
- A customer-focused and collaborative approach.
