Business Development Manager

We’re excited to be working with a leading law firm hiring a newly created BD Manager into the technology (TMT) team covering platforms; social media, marketplaces, SaaS and the wider digital economy.
There’s already a strong client base. The focus here is on building momentum — spotting where the growth is, shaping the messaging and helping the practice land it.
It’s a good mix of strategy and delivery, in a space that’s moving quickly.
What you’ll be doing:
- Owning BD for the platforms practice
- Growing existing client relationships and identifying new opportunities
- Using pipeline and financial data to guide where to focus
- Leading campaigns, thought leadership and profile-raising
- Driving pitches and proposals
- Planning client events and initiatives that cut through
- Working with colleagues across Europe on cross-border work
What they’re looking for:
- BD or marketing experience in professional services
- Interest in tech, digital or platform-led businesses
- Commercially minded – comfortable using data to back decisions
- Confident dealing with partners and senior stakeholders
