Overview

The Northern College of Acupuncture (NCA), established in 1988, is a pioneering higher education institution dedicated to acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. We were the first UK teaching institution to offer a university degree in acupuncture, launch a postgraduate degree in Chinese herbal medicine, and gain professional accreditation for acupuncture and herbal medicine programmes. Today, our university-validated and professionally accredited programmes continue to set standards for excellence, combining Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) with modern health care practices.

Responsibilities
  • Shape the future of healthcare education by influencing the next generation of acupuncture led practice.
  • Bridge traditional and modern health approaches, enabling the college to negotiate the correct balance between tradition and modern practice.

Qualifications

  • Experience in quality assurance, standards, and regulation.
