Head of Performance, Planning and Analytics
Location: Nantwich, CheshireSalary: £51K- £62K
An experienced and strategic Head of Funding, Planning and Performance is required for our education client to play a key leadership role in shaping the organisation's future. This is a high-impact position responsible for maximising funding opportunities, driving organisational planning, and delivering robust performance management frameworks.
Reporting to senior leadership, you will ensure financial sustainability, regulatory compliance, and data-driven decision-making across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the MIS function.
- Lead the funding strategy, ensuring accurate returns, compliance with funding body requirements, and optimisation of income.
- Oversee strategic planning and performance management, translating organisational goals into measurable outcomes.
- Manage and develop frameworks for data analysis, forecasting, and reporting to support evidence-based decision-making.
- Provide expert insight and assurance to senior leaders, and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory, audit, and assurance frameworks.
- Lead, develop, and motivate a high-performing team.
Experience required:
- You will be a confident and analytical leader with a strong track record in funding, planning, and performance management, ideally within education or a similarly regulated environment.
- Proven experience in funding, planning, performance, or financial strategy
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to interpret and present complex data clearly
- Experience working with senior stakeholders and influencing strategic decisions
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- A detail-focused, proactive, and solutions-driven approach
