Structural Engineers | All Levels | Belfast
Vickerstock Recruitment are working with a leading, multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy to recruit Structural Engineers at all levels, from early-career engineers (2+ years' experience) through to Senior and Principal level, to support continued growth within their Belfast office.

Your new role as Structural Engineer
Depending on your level and experience, you will be involved in the design and delivery of a wide range of building projects across commercial, residential, education and public-sector developments.
Responsibilities may include:
- Structural analysis and design using reinforced concrete, steel, masonry and timber
- Production and review of structural calculations, drawings and specifications
- Coordination with architects, M&E engineers and other project stakeholders
- Supporting projects through design development and construction stages
- Attending design meetings and, where appropriate, site visits
- Mentoring and supporting junior engineers (Senior / Principal level)
- Providing technical leadership and design oversight (Principal level)
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for these roles, you should have:
- A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- At least 2 years' experience in a structural engineering role (consultancy or contractor background considered)
- Experience working on building structures
- Good understanding of UK design standards and Eurocodes
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
For senior and principal roles:
- Chartered status (ICE or IStructE) or close to chartership
- Experience leading projects, managing design delivery or mentoring engineers
