About you:

  • At least 3 years' current experience as a payroll professional processing UK payroll
  • Proficient in payroll software and Microsoft Office 365/SharePoint
  • Knowledge of HMRC and pension submission deadlines
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work accurately under pressure
  • Willing to work flexibly, including occasional evenings, weekends, and public holidays

What you'll do:

  • Manage end-to-end payroll for multiple company divisions, including different pay frequencies
  • Prepare payroll inputs from time and attendance records
  • Reconcile benefit-in-kind and pension payments; ensure HMRC and pension filings are completed on time
  • Maintain employee records and process payslips efficiently
  • Handle employee payroll queries with professionalism and confidentiality
  • Reconcile payroll data with financial systems and prepare annual reports such as tax forms
  • Support administrative tasks including filing, reporting, and payroll projects
  • Contribute to team goals with a focus on best practices, safety, and service excellence
