Job Description:

Procurement Lead required for Further Education College in South Midlands

  • UK public sector procurement experience required (OJEU, PA23)
  • Standalone role
  • On-site , with flexible working arrangement

WeDoData is a specialist recruitment company whose focus is non-teaching support (IT, data, finance, procurement etc) in the education sector.

We’re working with a well managed FE College in South Midlands area who are looking for a Procurement Lead to join their finance team on a full time permanent basis.

My client is one of the country’s leading colleges — with standout strengths across health and social care, engineering, creative industries, construction, catering and digital — they’re proud to be a place where diversity thrives and talent flourishes.

As a Procurement Lead (no line management) you will be instrumental in developing robust procurement processes from the ground up, so a working knowledge of public procurement legislation (For example the Procurement Act 2023), is a must as is proven experience in a similar lead positionwithin the public sector.

Due to the nature of the role, it will be an on-site position, however flexible working arrangements are possible (e.g start earlier, finish earlier)

In return my client can offer

  • Salary of circa 39,000-44,000 per annum
  • 46 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays)
  • Local Government Pension (employer contribution of 22%)
  • Ongoing training and career development
  • Enhanced family friendly policies
  • Generous sick pay and compassionate leave schemes

For more information and to discuss this opportunity further please get in touch with Jay Brooks at WeDoData on 0117 3027500 or apply as soon as possible. Alternatively feel free to email jay@wedodata.co.uk
