Consultant Geriatrician (Frailty) – Aintree Site

Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Consultant Geriatrician with a specialist interest in frailty. This role is based primarily at the Aintree Site and is less than full time 8PA.

Responsibilities

• The successful applicant will provide frailty in‑reach services to the emergency floor.
• They will provide clinical supervision to trainees in the Department of Medicine for Older People and Stroke, and supervise undergraduates and other students within the department.
• Opportunity to develop links with community services and participate in the development of a proactive care hub.

Qualifications

• Eligible for inclusion in the GMC Specialist Register.
• Currently holding or within six months of completing CCT in Geriatric Medicine and General (Internal) Medicine (or equivalent).
