We are looking for a high calibre Head of/NAC expert with a passion for consumers and brands to join the team at UCC. The successful candidate will create a retail strategy from scratch and drive the growth of our branded and private label offer. They will also have line management of 2 NAMS who will look after our existing retail and café business.

The Role:

  • Creating and implementing the Strategy with UCC cross channel teams to win new business in Grocery and Out Of Home channels.
  • Line management of 2 NAMs to develop their capability
  • Partnering with Senior Marketing lead to create compelling insights to secure new opportunities.
  • Holding P&L responsibility, you will deliver against challenging yet exciting growth objectives and demonstrate high business acumen across the channels.
  • Clarity of forecasting and accountability for your teams number at all times across the key drivers:
  • Coffee to Go (smart vending proposition)
  • Side products (syrups, cleaning solutions)

The Person:

  • A proven highly driven results focused sales leader with broad commercial acumen
  • A great influencer and communicator at all levels
  • A superb collaborator, comfortable working with multiple departments
  • Able to demonstrate skills/experience in the following: Experience gained from the away-from-home and/or retail grocery sectors. Strong preference for experience from a blue-chip background and FMCG training.
  • Experience of senior selling across different channels including convenience, multiples, foodservice and Grocery.
  • High drive and tenacity to deliver growth in customers/sales/volumes.
  • Proven track record of securing new business of scale.
  • Proven experience of creating and implementing strategies to win new business.
  • Experience with Category, Brands and Solution Selling.
  • Multiskilled negotiator.
  • Strong numeric and data analytical skills.
  • Commercially astute.
