GVR Solutions are proud to be working with a reputable and expanding drylining contractor that delivers high-quality partitioning, ceilings, and interior fit-out solutions across a wide range of commercial and residential projects.

Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their operations team.This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager looking to progress their career within a dynamic and specialist subcontracting environment.

Responsibilities of the Project Manager:

  • Manage and oversee assigned projects, ensuring responsible and cost-effective delivery aligned with commercial objectives.
  • Provide clear leadership to Site Supervisors, fostering accountability and excellence.
  • Support the development of Site Supervisors to take ownership of daily activities and controls.
  • Represent the company professionally, maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ensure all works are conducted in accordance with RAMS, PPE standards, and safety procedures.
  • Promote behavioural and cultural safety initiatives across all teams.
  • Review and monitor project programmes weekly, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Conduct weekly site briefings to align activities with programme goals.
  • Support Site Managers and Site Supervisors in maintaining accurate logs of materials, deliveries, and staff diaries.
  • Work closely with the procurement team to oversee procurement activities and support supplier negotiations.
  • Ensure timely updates to the programme and financial records following signed Instructions.
  • Ensure compliance with specifications and contractual requirements.
  • Oversee snagging processes and ensure areas are signed off by the Contractor.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans including risk management and technical sequencing.
  • Obtain necessary design approvals from clients and internal departments

The Project Manager must have/be:

  • Robust experience in construction project delivery
  • HND/Degree in Construction or Engineering
  • Strong communication, planning, and organisational skills
  • Ability to lead and support site teams effectively
  • Knowledge of RAMS, programme sequencing and cost control
  • Cooperative, flexibleand resilient under pressure
