Procurement / Account Manager

The Opportunity An exciting opportunity has arisen for a commercially astute Account & Procurement Manager to join a growing and dynamic business. This is a pivotal, client-facing role offering broad exposure across account management, procurement, and project delivery.
You will act as a trusted partner to clients, ensuring the successful execution of procurement and cost management initiatives while identifying opportunities to drive value and commercial growth. This role is ideally suited to an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys balancing strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management
Serve as a primary point of contact for key client accountsDevelop and nurture strong, long-term client relationshipsTranslate client objectives into clear, deliverable outcomesProactively identify opportunities to enhance value and grow accounts
Project Delivery
Lead end-to-end delivery of procurement and cost optimisation projectsManage timelines, risks, and stakeholder expectationsCoordinate cross-functional teams and external suppliersEnsure high-quality outputs are delivered on time and within scope
Supplier & Commercial Management
Support supplier engagement, performance evaluation, and negotiationsAnalyse spend data, supplier performance, and contract termsContribute to supplier optimisation and cost-saving initiatives
Procurement
Support sourcing, tendering, and benchmarking activitiesProvide data-driven insights and recommendationsTrack savings delivery and measurable benefitsEnsure procurement processes are efficient, compliant, and commercially focused
The Candidate
Proven experience in procurement complimented with client facing experienceStrong project management and organisational capabilitiesCommercially aware with the ability to interpret and leverage dataConfident communicator, able to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levelsHighly organised with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesPragmatic, solutions-oriented, and detail-focused
Desirable
Experience within consultancy or cost-reduction environmentsExposure to supplier negotiations and contract managementRelevant professional qualifications (e.g. CIPS, PRINCE2, or similar)Degree / Masters level
