Salary: £31,633 – £45,341 per annum, plus potential £5,000 Levelling Up Fund payment

A respected and forward‑thinking further education college group in Berkshire is looking to appoint an Electrical Lecturer to join their expanding Construction and Engineering provision. This role is predominantly teaching‑focused, based onsite at the college, delivering electrical installation courses to learners across further education programmes. The college welcomes experienced lecturers as well as industry professionals who wish to move into education. Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging practical and theory‑based electrical lessons onsite at the college
  • Support learners to achieve qualifications and industry standards
  • Prepare lesson materials and assess learner progress

  • Support students with employability and progression opportunities

Required qualifications

  • Minimum Level 3 Electrical qualification
  • 18th Edition qualification
  • JIB Gold Card
  • 2391 Testing & Inspection qualification
  • AM2 qualification
  • Strong industry experience within electrical installation

Desirable qualifications

  • Previous teaching or training experience
  • Teaching qualification
  • Passion for supporting and developing learners
