We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, motivated, and compassionate Community Nurse Practitioner to play a core part in delivering skills underpinned by brief psychological interventions within the new A-EDIT service.
The Adult Eating Disorders Intensive Treatment service (A-EDIT) is a regionwide service offering treatment as an alternative to Specialist Eating Disorder (SEDU) inpatient admission for adults receiving treatment from an East of England Community Eating Disorders service (CEDS) who have a severe eating disorder which makes them eligible for SEDU admission.

The post holder will liaise and work alongside the wider CEDS including the multidisciplinary team (MDT), ward staff, other health and social care providers across the East of England region.

- Assess care needs and risk, formulate care and risk management plans, co‑produce care plans with the service user, carers and professionals to avoid hospital admission or facilitate early discharge.
- Respond to any crisis that a service user may advise of, promoting independent recovery while safely managing the crisis.
