We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing manufacturing business seeking an experienced CAD/CAM Programmer with strong AlphaCAM knowledge. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking company specialising in precision engineering and bespoke production.

Key Responsibilities• Create, modify, and optimise CNC programs using AlphaCAM • Interpret technical drawings, CAD models, and customer specifications • Generate toolpaths for a variety of CNC machinery (3-axis/5-axis where applicable) • Collaborate closely with design, production, and engineering teams to ensure efficient manufacturing processes • Set up and prove out programs on the shop floor where required • Continuously improve machining processes to enhance productivity and reduce waste • Maintain accurate documentation of programs and machining procedures • Strong working knowledge of AlphaCAM (essential) • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical data • Experience with CNC machining (wood, metal, or composites depending on sector) • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

The Ideal Candidate • Experience with additional CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, Fusion 360) • Knowledge of multi-axis machining • Previous shop floor or hands-on CNC experience
