Our client is looking for a Temporary Fleet Coordinator to oversee and manage their company vehicle fleet through a third-party supplier. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised individual to support operations on a short-term basis, ensuring vehicles are well-maintained, compliant, and available when needed.
You will also contribute to improving efficiency across the fleet while supporting our commitment to net zero and sustainability goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain an up-to-date inventory of company vehicles, including maintenance records, usage, and condition
- Schedule and oversee routine servicing, inspections, and repairs
- Coordinate vehicle allocation and scheduling to meet operational needs
- Monitor fuel consumption, mileage, and vehicle performance
- Ensure compliance with all legal requirements, including insurance, registration, and local regulations
- Liaise with third-party suppliers to ensure high service standards
- Support initiatives to optimise fleet efficiency and reduce environmental impact
About You
- Previous experience in fleet management, logistics, or a similar role (desirable)
- Strong organisational and coordination skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage records accurately
- Able to work effectively with external suppliers and internal teams
- Interest in sustainability and operational efficiency
