Mechanical Design Engineer – Proper Engineering
Let’s be honest.
Some “design engineer” jobs are just moving lines around in CAD.
This isn’t one of them.
An established engineering manufacturer is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a small, sharp design team building complex industrial equipment used globally.
You’ll be working at the intersection of mechanical, electrical and systems engineering — turning customer requirements into machines that actually get built.
What the job really involves
• Designing mechanical assemblies and sheet metal structures in SolidWorks • Packaging electrical and mechanical systems into real, manufacturable machines • Solving the problems that appear between concept, prototype and production • Producing drawings, BOMs and design documentation that manufacturing can actually use • Working directly with engineers, suppliers and production to get things built properly
You’ll probably fit if you
• Can design confidently in SolidWorks • Understand sheet metal or welded fabrication • Have worked around machinery, equipment or industrial systems • Prefer solving engineering problems rather than just modelling parts
If you like practical engineering, real machines and seeing your designs built, this is worth a conversation.
