Overview
As General Manager, you will lead the day-to-day operations and overall commercial performance of the business. Working closely with the founder, who is transitioning into a non-executive role, you will have broad autonomy and full P&L responsibility, supported by a small, experienced management team.
Key responsibilities
- Leading and executing the company’s overall business strategy
- Full P&L ownership with a strong focus on profitability and sustainable growth
- Driving sales performance and European market expansion
- Leading, coaching and developing a small multidisciplinary team
- Overseeing operations, service delivery and customer satisfaction
- Building and maintaining senior relationships with customers, suppliers and partners
- Representing the business at industry exhibitions, events and key customer meetings
- Improving operational efficiency while maintaining technical and service excellence
- Managing organisational change in a pragmatic, low-disruption way
- Shaping and reinforcing a collaborative, trusted company culture
Candidate Profile
- We are keen to speak with senior leaders who can demonstrate:
- Experience in the semiconductor, high-tech equipment or closely related sectors
- Proven success in general management, business unit leadership or operational leadership roles
- Strong commercial and financial capability, including P&L responsibility
- Experience developing and executing sales and growth strategies across Europe
- Confidence in customer-facing, stakeholder-heavy environments
- A hands-on, pragmatic leadership style suited xwzovoh to entrepreneurial or owner-managed businesses
- The ability to lead change while respecting established teams and culture
- Excellent communication skills and credibility at a senior level
