The PSL will manage and lead support for pupils. S/he will be an active member of the school leadership team and be responsible for the development, implementation and monitoring of effective support for young people and their families. Leith Academy is a diverse and comprehensive secondary school in Edinburgh, the school roll is currently around 1000 pupils. This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required.
