Senior Installation Engineers
You will be a Senior Engineer responsible for being the bridge between complex electrical requirements and seamless customer delivery. You will manage high‑specification installations, which may include smart home integration, EV charging points, and premium integrated appliances. All while ensuring our work complies with the latest regulations.
You will also lead, develop and mentor junior team members, and depot managers ensuring best practice, quality and regulations are followed.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Electrical Installations: Execute and sign off on complex electrical connections and installations in domestic environments.
- Customer Excellence: Provide expert‑level product demonstrations, turning a technical installation into a premium experience for the client.
- Technical Mentorship: Act as a dedicated mentor to junior installers and apprentices, conducting on‑site coaching and mentoring to elevate the team’s technical skills.
- Quality Assurance: Perform spot checks and audits on installations to ensure they meet both 18th Edition standards and our own rigorous internal benchmarks.
- Compliance: Maintain accurate certification records and ensure all health and safety protocols are strictly followed by the crew.
About You
- Qualifications: Fully qualified Electrician (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds 2365, or equivalent).
- Regulations: Up‑to‑date 18th Edition (BS 7671) qualification is essential.
- Experience: Proven track record in domestic electrical work and appliance installation.
- Leadership Mindset: A natural ability to teach others and a passion for developing the next generation of engineers.
- Licensing: A clean UK driving license (experience with 3.5t vehicles is a plus).
This role will involve regular travel to depots and customers’ homes.
