Role Overview
We are actively seeking a Head of the PE Department to lead and organise the department, teaching GCSE and A-Level PE.
Responsibilities
- Lead, organise, and run the PE department, fostering a positive learning environment.
- Improve student progress through effective curriculum design and data analysis.
- Manage extracurricular activities and duties within the department.
- Develop and maintain the PE curriculum aligned with national standards.
- Teach PE classes at GCSE and A-Level.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience leading a department and curriculum development.
- Strong data‑driven approach to monitoring student progress.
- Enhanced DBS check required.
- Must provide original qualifications before placement.
