As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will be responsible for the following:
Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures while processing accounts and incoming payments
- Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verification, classification, computation, posting, and recording of accounts receivable data
- Prepare bills, invoices, and bank deposits accurately
- Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure accurate and complete payment postings
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and issues raised by clients
- Facilitate timely payment of invoices by sending bill reminders and maintaining regular communication with clients
- Generate comprehensive financial statements and reports that provide a clear view of accounts receivable status
To excel in this role, we require the following qualifications and skills:
- Proven work experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk, Accounts Receivable Manager, or Accountant
- Thorough understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices, and collection regulations
- Demonstrated ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records
- Proficient data entry skills with a keen eye for numbers
- Hands‑on experience with spreadsheets and accounting software
- Proficiency in English and MS Office applications
- Customer service orientation and effective negotiation skills
- High level of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
