CDM Principal Designer – Architect

An employee‑owned, multi‑disciplinary consultancy is seeking an Architect to move into a CDM Principal Designer role. The role will involve leading on project delivery across a variety of sectors, including residential, commercial, retail, refurbishment, education and healthcare projects, and eliminating risk at early design stages.

Responsibilities

  • Lead CDM‑related tasks and mitigate risk at early design stages.
  • Act as CDM Principal Designer and ensure clear communication with the Principal Contractor.
  • Eliminate design risk and manage risk throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • ARB‑registered or RIBA‑registered Architect.
  • Strong understanding of the CDM Regulations 2015.
  • Experience in design risk management and an eye for spotting early stage risks.

Benefits
