- Fabricate parts by interpreting engineering drawings and applying appropriate machining techniques.
- Assemble components as required, utilizing hand tools and welding techniques where necessary.
- Troubleshoot issues with machinery and make adjustments as needed to maintain production flow.
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance productivity.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a CNC Programmer or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience programming Siemens 808D Controls.
- Proficiency in CAD software for programming purposes.
- Strong mechanical knowledge, including familiarity with logic controllers and tooling.
- Ability to operate hand tools and perform welding tasks effectively.
- Experience in materials handling and an understanding of fabrication processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
