CNC Recruitment are proud to be working with a well-established wholesale business supplying the leisure vehicle industry, including campervan converters, horsebox builders, and caravan & motorhome dealers.

Due to internal restructuring, we are looking for a Warehouse Team Leader to oversee a small team and manage day-to-day warehouse operations. This role involves leading the team, ensuring accurate order fulfilment, maintaining stock control, and keeping systems up to date.

Location: Wincanton
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000
Full-Time | Permanent
Working hours: Monday – Friday, 8:15am – 5:15pm

Applicant MUST HAVE:

  • 2-3 years' experience as a Supervisor or Team Leader
  • Proven ability to manage and lead staff (with support from Directors and external providers)
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • A valid forklift licence (refresh training can be provided)

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations

  • Oversee daily activities including goods in, picking, packing, and dispatch
  • Ensure orders are processed accurately and on time
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through regular stock checks
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment
  • Monitor KPIs to drive performance and efficiency
  • Manage returns, damaged goods, and non-conforming products

Team Management

  • Lead, train, and develop the warehouse team
  • Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Work closely with departments such as Finance, Sales Support, and Marketing

Systems & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate warehouse systems and records
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies and company procedures

Key Skills

  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making
  • Leadership and team development experience

Experience & Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a warehouse leadership role
  • Good understanding of Health & Safety regulations and compliance
