Project description
We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Architect to lead the design and implementation of a multi-region disaster recovery architecture, AWS Outposts hybrid deployment, and cross-cloud Azure Blob Safe Harbor integration. The architect will be responsible for end-to-end technical leadership, working closely with engineering teams to deliver a resilient, compliant, and operationally mature platform across AWS eu-west-2, eu-west-1, AWS Outposts, and Azure Blob Storage.
Responsibilities
- Configure and validate a resilient three-tier hybrid architecture across an already-deployed AWS Outposts rack, pre-existing AWS accounts, and an established AWS-to-Azure connectivity pattern. Scope covers workload configuration, cross-region data replication, Azure Blob safe harbor integration, observability, and knowledge transfer.
Must have
- 8+ years cloud architecture experience
- 5+ years AWS architecture experience
- Understanding of Capital Markets and Market Infrastructure providers
- Excellent stakeholder management
- Multi-region AWS architecture design
- AWS networking (VPC, TGW, routing)
- Disaster Recovery architecture
- Cross-region database replication
- AWS security architecture
- Azure Blob Storage integration
- Cross-cloud architecture experience
- AWS Global Accelerator experience
- AWS DataSync
- Step Functions / Lambda orchestration
- GDPR / regulated environment experience
