Process Engineer – Manufacturing
A manufacturing business specialising in rubber moulded components is seeking a Process Engineer to develop, document, and optimise production processes across moulding and assembly operations. This is a hands-on role supporting new product introduction and ongoing production improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and document manufacturing processes for injection, compression, and transfer moulding
Define robust process parameters and process flows for new product introduction
Support tooling development in collaboration with internal and external teams
Investigate production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
Support and train production operators on new or updated processes
Manage process-related projects and ensure delivery against quality and timing requirements
Ensure processes meet safety, quality, and performance standards
Requirements
Experience with rubber moulding processes (injection, compression, or transfer)
Hands-on, practical approach to manufacturing problem-solving
Ability to interpret and control key quality characteristics of moulded components
Comfortable working in a production environment and cross-functional teams
Desirable
Background in plastics or injection moulding
Experience in fast-paced manufacturing environments
